Diabetes Champion

If you are living with Diabetes, a carer or someone who is simply passionate about helping others, we want to hear from you! Diabetes Awareness Champions are local residents who volunteer their time at community events, groups and key locations, raising awareness of Type 2 Diabetes through informal conversations with others from their communities. In return for their time, all Champions receive extensive training and support to develop skills and confidence from experienced staff and from the rest of the team. There is also the option of receiving SPICE time credits for the time you spend as a champion, which you can then use to access services and experiences across London. The team operates across Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea and Hammersmith and Fulham.
