The Volunteer Centre Wellbeing Programme is launching a new workshop series to tackle interview anxiety and build confidence. The workshops will give you practical tools to use before future interviews, including breathing exercises, empowering music, power-poses and movement to shake off anxiety and build confidence.

Over 4 weeks we will use creative mindfulness and practical interview techniques to prepare for interviews. Week one will explore how empowering music can build confidence. In the second week we will build affirmation maps to focus on our strengths and re-balance self-doubts. Week three will start with guided meditation to relax and then create some images to focus on during times of stress. In the final week, we will try these techniques in practice, with a silent disco of everyone’s empowering music choices before a supported interview preparation role play.

All those who sign up will have the opportunity to be referred to CV writing support workshops with partner organizations. At the end of the series, everyone will be given information for further support with finding employment.
