Learning Volunteer
1 Thorpe Close, Ladbroke Grove

The role of the Learning Volunteer is to support Learning Officers in delivery of 2-hour sessions to school children. You will help prepare classroom and resources before sessions, help clear up at the end of the session, support and join in with school holiday, activities such as bat and bird box making, go on guided walks for adults and to support children and teachers during sessions - everything from bird watching to dressing as a pirate! There is also scope for involvement in big annual events such as the Royal Parks Half Marathon.

The Royal Parks Foundation provides sessions that are curriculum-linked to support school work in science, geography, art and history. We also offer a full programme of school holiday activities, walking tours for adults, evening bat walks and other larger events.
