The role of Campaign Correspondent Organiser will involve processing applications to join our Campaign Correspondents programme (receiving storing and responding to these), sending out campaign materials, answering queries from campaigners and updating our CRM. Good administration and organisational skills and a keen interest in older people is essential.
This is a part-time role for at least 3 months. Volunteers are required for one day a week, the day of choice can be arranged between the volunteer and Independent Age.
About Independent Age
At Independent Age we envisage a society where older people can live the lives they aspire to and contribute actively to their communities. Our mission is to enable older people to stay independent and live well with dignity, choice and control. We provide free information and advice for older people and their families on care and support, money and benefits and health and mobility, along with friendship services to relieve loneliness. We also use the knowledge and insight gained from our frontline services to campaign for a fair deal for older people – i.e. a reasonable standard of living, fair access to information and an opportunity to contribute to their communities.
