The Hodan Community are looking spcifically for a treasurer and someone who can help with fundraising to join their board.
The Organisation
The organisation aims to improve access to the service available locally for the Somali Community through the provision of culturally sensitive and language appropriate advice, information, advocacy and outreach services. We run the following services:
Drop in advice and Information
Outreach Work
Information Sessions
Elders support activities
Carers support
Skills / Qualifications
The treasurer should have accounting skills.
An awareness of how the voluntary sector works would be advantagous. Applicants should be competentant in the English language. Fundraising skills would be desirable but not essential.

The organisation is based at the top of Ladbroke Grove.
