Services for organisations

We are the central volunteering resource for charities, local voluntary organisations and the public sector in Kensington and Chelsea. We are here to support, develop and promote local organisations so that you can deliver your services more effectively. We can help with volunteer recruitment, volunteer management, developing policies and procedures as well as answering any questions around volunteering that you might have.

We work towards supporting local organisations through the following activities

• Brokerage: We match individuals and groups interested in volunteering with appropriate opportunities in the local community.
• Promotion: We encourage interest and raise awareness of volunteering in the borough through outreach at local events and through other marketing and promotion to the general public.
• Training: Through training, conferences and other events we encourage organisations to involve volunteers in a way that recognises good practice in managing volunteers.
• Support: We work with local organisations to develop worthwhile volunteering opportunities in the borough

Help Recruiting Volunteers

We run comprehensive recruitment campaigns to help you find the right volunteers. Utilising existing volunteering websites, our own e-marketing publications, local press and face-to-face contact, we can help you find the right people. Click to find out more about recruiting volunteers.

Training with the Volunteer Centre

We offer registered organisations a comprehensive programme of training, forums and conferences.Our integrated programme of events aims to provide a holistic overview of volunteer management that any of our registered organisations can access either freely or at very affordable prices.
