The New Opportunities department accepts people referred locally. We work with people who are unemployed or who are economically in-active.
We ask you what your aspirations for the future are, and then we help you take steps towards achieving them. Through a combination of volunteer placement and one-to-one support, we aim to help you find paid employment.
We work with the voluntary sector in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and surrounding boroughs of Brent, Camden and Westminster. So we have a great pool of potential voluntary roles to draw from. We will identify good quality volunteer placements that offer sustainable career prospects so that you can get practical hands-on experience.
You have the chance to upgrade your career prospects, building on skills, knowledge and experience you already have. You can even start yourself on the road to something new that you have always wanted to do.
