The Resettlement Program

The Resettlement Program

The Resettlement Program is dealing with new organisations in order to secure new voluntary positions for offenders and ex offenders. We are also looking at training programs for Bricklaying, Plastering and Gas Fitters.
Organizations are welcome to help us to promote good practice and training programs.
Offenders and ex offenders participating in the Resettlement Program are encouraged to participate in voluntary work programs that are available throughout the borough. Programs are managed by Philomena Murphy the Resettlement Officer. Her aim is to secure voluntary positions for offenders in the closing stage of their sentences.
Community Work
Working for the local community is intended to give prisoners the chance to build self-confidence and at the same time develop a sense of social responsibility.
The work can include
Gardening,
Bricklaying,
Plastering
Gas Fitters.
