Volunteer Centre art competition entries
We would like to send a big thank-you to all the artists that entered our competition
Congratulations to the winners chosen from more than 100 entries in Volunteer Centre’s 40th anniversary art contest. We thought that all the finalists’ works exhibited great sense of fun colour and a sophisticated sense of design. Diverse in media, wide-ranging in content and style, these paintings pictures and even a sculpture were all very impressive.
We thank our judges Mary McGowan (curator of many exhibitions and Manager of Lyndon’s Arts Trust) and Martin Gannon (volunteer for the Volunteer Centre and keen art enthusiast) for taking their responsibility so seriously. We would also like to thank every artist who entered the competition.
