This training is for anyone who needs to facilitate volunteer induction events or deliver more advanced skill training for volunteers or staff. This very practical and free course takes participants through all key stages in the training cycle using practical examples drawn from the voluntary sector.
The workshop helps participants appreciate training methods, models and systems that can mean all the difference between an average training experience and one that creates a buzz.
This course includes:

- The role of the trainer
- Designing effective volunteer training
- Utilising different training methods and resources
- Making best use of the training environment
- Engaging and interactive training delivery
