A key part of our core services is to support Volunteer Involving Organisations (VIO’s) in all areas of their volunteer programme. Over 200 non-profit organisations are registered with the Volunteer Centre. Any non-profit organisation within the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, or does any substantial work within the borough can apply to become a registered organisation.

The Volunteer Coordinators Forum is held every two months at different venues throughout the borough and the meetings are an opportunity to network, get support and share information. They include discussion topics on volunteering good practice and members determine their content and structure. Learn more HERE
We have a number of Information sheets which can be sent out on request. Good practice info & hints on working with volunteers can be found HERE
One to one meetings with VIO’s, assisting them with writing policies, recruitment, clarifying procedures, marketing and designing material.
VIO’s can advertise volunteering opportunities in our monthly bulletin, Classified. This is distributed centres and other places which may attract potential volunteers.
