The Volunteer Services Team has a huge range of placements with an equally large range of organisations and causes.
Whatever you’re looking for, we can find it – and it it’s something we’ve not thought of, then we’ll research the options available to you!
Some of the categories of volunteering opportunities are: desktop publishing, administration and IT; befriending and counselling; education; tutoring and mentoring; driving; escorting and practical assistance; catering at shelters for homeless people; day centres and homes; DIY and gardening; advice; research and helplines; campaigning, finance and fundraising; sports and leisure.

What’s the process to volunteer?

1 Register with us. You can do this by dropping in, making an appointment, filling in our reigistration form online or
requesting a registration form by post.
2 Once we have received your registration form we will identify several volunteering opportunities that match your skills and interests.
3 We send you this information along with details on how to proceed, you are then free to select from the opportunities or call and request some more.
